In this sermon Pastor Eric introduces the Gospel of Mark. Unlike other gospels Mark does not provide any account of the events surrounding Jesus' birth. Rather, we find two Old Testament prophecies and then Mark moves immediately into the preparation for Jesus' ministry. Why was Mark so concerned with what was happening out in the wilderness in the first century?
