Peter Burr

I have a passion for seeing men within the local church build new relationships with Christ and with each other. The men’s ministry at City of God seeks to help develop friendships between all men in the church as we strive to motivate and encourage one another through God’s Word. My hope for this ministry is that men can come to our events and leave as stronger Christians, husbands, and fathers.

It has been an incredible journey attending and serving within City of God Church. I worked as an intern for City of God while studying for my Master of Divinity degree back in 2021. I hope to keep using that education to build up those I interact with in the church. It has truly felt like home, and a place where the Gospel message truly shines through. I was appointed as a deacon this past year, and it has been an honor to represent City of God and Christ in this way. My hope is to continue to help meet needs within City of God as a function of my new role.

When I am not helping with City of God, I work as an Electric Project Engineer for Tipmont REMC. My hobbies include video games, board games, and woodworking. I have been married to my lovely wife Jaime for 9 years, with one energetic toddler in tow!
