What authority does Jesus have in your life? In John 5 we encounter the story of Jesus' healing a man who had been unable to walk for thirty-eight years. However, Jesus met opposition from some of the religious leaders because he healed the man on a Sabbath. For these leaders, their traditions had become a "god" in their life that would not allow them to worship Jesus. What are some of the gods in our own life that keep us from letting Jesus be Lord of our life?
