Mission and Values
Mission:
City of God Church exists to be used by God in the transformation of individuals and the city in which we live. In all things we want to bring glory and honor to God.
Core Values:
1. God Glorifying
Everything that we do as a community and individuals is to bring glory to God.
2. Gospel Centered
The story of God bringing people into a relationship with Himself through the death of His Son on the cross for our rebellion against Him is at the heart of City of God Church.
3. Biblically Grounded
The Bible gives us the words of God to His people throughout the centuries. It is the source of everything that we believe about God, and how to live for Him in our community.
4. Spirit Empowered
There are two main pieces to our mission at City of God: to help people meet Jesus, and to help those that have met Him live a changed life. We can't do either on our own, and are in desperate need of God's spirit to bring about change.
5. Life in Community
God never intended for you to go through life alone. We come to meet Jesus and grow to live more like Him through honest and real relationships.
